'[Moss] is getting away with it because with most press, people are pussies. They want the celebrity to get to talk with them, and like them. You know, I don't respect it, I don't admire it, and I don't think there's anything remotely cute about it.'"

" ... On Aug. 26, A&E will air the finale episode of the Emmy-winning series Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath. It's a 2-hour special focusing on the rape allegations against actor (and Scientologist) Danny Masterson, and features two of the That '70s Show star's accusers telling all to ex-Scientologists Remini and Mike Rinder.The episode was supposed to air in February but was put on hold by the network following an elaborate smear campaign conducted by the Church of Scientology. Recently, four of Masterson's sexual-assault accusers have filed a civil suit against Masterson, the Church of Scientology, and its leader, David Miscavige, alleging "stalking, physical invasion of privacy and a conspiracy to obstruct justice," according to reporter Yashar Ali. (Masterson has called the suit "beyond ridiculous.")"

"According to the news release, McElveen used his position as BB&T branch manager, in Rowland, to steal the personal identifiers of two elderly customers to fraudulently obtain loans and credit cards in their names.The release said the "loan proceeds and credit cards were used for his personal benefit to pay for, among other things, rental cars, a home security system and hotel rooms in Myrtle Beach. "It says in addition, McElveen "closed a $50,000 certificate of deposit owned by one of the elderly victims, without her knowledge, and used most of the proceeds to make a large payment toward his delinquent residential mortgage. "Federal authorities say he attempted to, "conceal his criminal activity through the use of his position as pastor for his Greater Faith World Outreach Church in Florence."The release said he deposited some of the fraudulently obtained proceeds into the 'church's operating account and used his signatory authority on that account to withdraw funds for his personal benefit.'"
