November 18th marks International #CultAwarenessDay

November 18th marks International #CultAwarenessDay—a day to remember the victims of Jonestown and other high-control groups, while educating ourselves on the realities of coercive control.

We can't fight what we don't understand. To help spread critical awareness today, we are asking our community to step up:

  1. Create your own graphics highlighting the signs of psychological manipulation and cultic abuse.
  2. Share graphics from trusted resources to help educate your network.
  3. Use the hashtag #CultAwarenessDay on everything you post to build a unified message.

By raising our voices together, we can protect vulnerable people and support those on their journey to recovery.
