MUMBAI: The management of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir in Borivli submitted their affidavit at the child rights commission on Tuesday after the parent of a student complained against the school for allegedly harassing her daughter. "The parent has never communicated to the school that her child was being made subject of jokes or that she was meted out discriminatory or any derogatory treatment," said the affidavit by the school.
The parent refuted these statements made by the school. "Time and again I have visited the principal to inform her about how my daughter was being treated. Even a counsellor was brought on board after my insistence," said the mother.
The commission has asked for the parents to submit their replies in the form of an affidavit and argue on this matter at the next hearing.
