ICSA 2024 ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

Evidence-based Practices in Cult Recovery
The International Cultic Studies Association (ICSA) is conducting its 2024 Annual International Conference jointly with Info-Cult/Info-Secte (Montreal, Canada), AIS PRO-JUVENTUD (Intervention and Research on Socioaddictions) (AIS - Barcelona, Spain), and the University of Barcelona (UB - Barcelona, Spain).
The conference will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from Thursday, July 4 through Saturday, July 6, 2024, with preconference workshops being held on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.
Attendees and speakers at past conferences have been diverse, including academicians, helping professionals, former and current group members, families, clergy, educators, and others.
Individual presenters will have 45 minutes for presentation delivery and discussion. Panel organizers have 90 minutes for the panel. It is recommended that no more than four people speak on a panel.
The Conference Committee will consider papers and panel proposals in English or Spanish in all areas of cultic studies and in related areas, such as terrorism, gangs, emotional dependence (in couples and others), family violence
(including intimate partner violence, psychological abuse of children and elders, sexual abuse), sexual exploitation, mobbing, bullying, and behavioral addictions.
Each participant, including speakers, will be expected both to pay his or her travel and accommodation expenses, and to register before being included in the final program. Speakers will receive a discount on the registration fee.
