On the 5th of February in 2008, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the creator of the Transcendental Meditation technique, guru of the Beatles, Mia Farrow and Clint Eastwood, as well as the leader of the movement that came with it, died peacefully at the age of 90 in his residence in Vlodrop, Netherlands. He inspired millions of people, why his family, friends and followers held a big public cremation funeral, to honor their great guru for one last time.
