Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic Vishwavidyalaya (MMYVV) OR Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Vedic University is a public university located in Katni, Madhya Pradesh, India. It as established by the Act No. 37 of 1995 of Madhya Pradesh Government vide Gazette notification no. 537 dated 29 Nov 1995. 

MMYVV is recognised by UGC under section 2 (F) and is a member of Association of Indian Universities. MMYVV is an affiliating University with Jurisdiction spread over entire Madhya Pradesh. The University has four campuses. Jabalpur (Vijay Nagar and Mangeli), Bhopal and Indore. 

His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji was the founder and the first Chancellor of MMYVV. At present Brahmachari (Dr.) Girish is the Chancellor and as per divine desire and guidance provided by Maharishi Ji, is trying to impart knowledge to large number of Students. Directorate of Distance Education has been established in 2006 and it’s office is situated at Lamti, Vijay Nagar, Jabalpur.

MMYVV is part of the Maharishi Educational System which has 250,000 students, 6,000 faculty members and 4,000 administrators and staff members across 250 districts in India. MMYVVV has campuses in Bhopal, Indore and Jabalpur. The campuses are reported to contain "state of the art infrastructure and facilities" including a library, audio-visual rooms and computer labs. Athletic facilities such as a track and other outdoor and indoor sports are also available. The Bhopal campus consists of a 50-acre (200,000 m2), "pollution free" facility near the airport and railway station with separate hostel facilities for up to 500 students. The Bhopal campus also features equestrian training facilities. Indore is an 8-acre (32,000 m2), rural campus and contains hostel facilities for up to 300 students
