A cult leader who allegedly poses as a psychiatrist was arrested in Mumbai on Thursday after the high court heard petitions in this regard. The Bombay high court heard petitions filed by the family members in which it was alleged that the cult leader, Sunil Kulkarni had trapped their daughters and pushed them into drugs.
The high court was told that Kulkarni had lured four women in their twenties into talking drugs. It was stated that Kulkarni who heads the Shifu Sunkriti poses as a psychiatrist. He was charged by the Malad police for trafficking, cheating, obscenity and violation of the Information Technology Act.
The high court was told that Kulkarni had lured four women in their twenties into talking drugs. The girls left their respective homes, their parents alleged in the petition. It was also stated that the girls who were allegedly trapped on the social media were refusing to return home.
The court questioned the police why they were taking this case casually. The court said that it looks like an apparent case of sex and drugs. Several boys and girls are being trapped and the police is taking this matter lightly, the court also said.
