It can’t be true. Can it?
It can’t be true. Can it?

Many people thought former goalkeeper David Icke was totally nuts when he told Terry Wogan he was the son of God on TV.

Well, they’re not laughing now.

A whopping 12 million people believe that America is actually run by shape-shifting lizards, just as Icke said.

Rob Brotherton, author of Suspicious Minds: Why We Believe Conspiracy Theories, says our belief in such theories is natural, ‘If we were all competely trusting, it would not be good for survival.

‘Sometimes people really don’t have our best interests in mind.

But are we REALLY surrounded by shape-shifting, blood drinking reptiles? Is the Queen one of them?

Here’s some of the most barking conspiracies people actually believe in, according to a Public Policy Poll in America.

  • A UFO crashed at Roswell – 65 million people
  • Vaccines are linked to autism – 62 million people
  • The moon landings were faked – 21 million people
  • Bigfoot exists – 43 million people
  • The government controls people’s minds through their TVs – 47 million people
  • Paul McCartney actually died in 1966 – 15 million people
