The defendants include two Scientology organizations and eleven leaders of the religious community in Belgium. The prosecution accuses them, among other things fraud, extortion, illegal medical practices and disregard for privacy.

If the organization is actually classified as a criminal, Scientology threatened in Belgium banning. The process in Brussels began last October after years of investigation by the Belgian public prosecutor.
