Maharashtra Institute of Technology University to start new courses in Vedic science

PUNE: City-based Maharashtra Institute of Technology Art, Design and Technology University will start new courses under the Maharishi Veda Vyas MIT School of Vedic Sciences and ethical management from this academic year.
The courses would be conducted in the Bharatiya Sanskruti Dnyan Darshan educational campus, Rajbaug, Loni Kalbhor of World Peace Centre (Alandi).

This unique institute developing all-round successful personality has emerged from the concept of Vishwanth Karad, senior educationist and founder president, World Peace Centre. Scientist Vijay Bhatkar will be the chief mentor of this institute, it was announced at a news conference addressed by them on Tuesday.

As part of this course, ancient Indian culture containing science and spirituality will be taught to students.
Courses offered by institute are bachelor and masters of vedic science and also doctorate in the field.
At the conference, Bhatkar said, "Youngsters who have studied the courses based on the ancient science of Vedas and modern science, Vedic and modern mathematics, computer science, information technology, philosophy, psychology, logic, yoga, statistics and darshan shastra will be in demand in the corporate world."
