ICSA 2017 Annual Conference - Bordeaux, France
Cultic Dynamics and Radicalization
June 29 – July 1, 2017 (preconference workshops on June 28th)
The International Cultic Studies Association (ICSA) is conducting its 2017 Annual International Conference jointly with Info-Cult/Info-Secte of Montreal and Société Française de Recherche et d’Analyse de l’Emprise Mentale (SFRAEM).
The issue of radicalization has been a focus of world-wide concern and the link between radicalization and cults is increasingly being made. This year’s conference will have a number of sessions by specialists on this area and on extremism in general.
ICSA annual conferences bring together experts from around the world. The ICSA annual conference is THE conference to attend, if you are interested in cultic groups, psychological manipulation, and helping victims.
Though the theme of the conference is cultic dynamics and radicalization, the program will be varied, with numerous sessions pertinent to former members of cultic groups, families, helping professionals, researchers, and others.
Nearly 140 speakers will participate.
Simultaneous translation will be available for selected sessions.
The meeting site is at the Athénée Père Joseph Wresinski, Place Saint Christoly, 33000 in the center of Bordeaux, a world heritage site.
There will be a reception at the Bordeaux City Hall on Friday June 30th, and social event on Sunday, July 2nd – details to come later.
