‘Gu’ means darkness and ‘Ru’ means light. Undoubtedly, one who dispels the darkness is Guru. Yogi Ajay Jalla popularly known as Bablu Bhaiya Ji was a born selfrealized ‘Sidha Purusha’. He was born on 24th February, 1964 in Srinagar at Rainawari. After the mass exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley he spent maximum time in Jammu at different places with his disciples around him all the time.
He was most dedicated disciple to Guru Dev Swami Brahmanand Sarswati Ji, Jagadguru Shankaracharaya of Jyotishpeeth, Badrikasham Himalayas. He was deeply influenced by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Maharaj Ji’s infinite love that drew him out of isolation in the Himalayas to relieve the world from suffering, to provide people joy and peace and to create heaven on earth. Having learned from his master Guru Dev, Bablu Bhaiya ji completely revived the practical, ancient science that is capable of creating perfect life and guiding individual to the path of enlightenment. He was a staunch believer of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi Ji, vedic science and technology which is the most widely practiced and extensively researched programme in the world.
Transcendental Meditation was the subject he always focused on and would always implore upon his disciples to learn and practice it regularly. Bablu Bhaiya, though weak in his physical prowess due to Lou Gehrigs disease, was strong in his mental and spiritual prowess. We could easily understand it while going through his work ‘Spiritual Insights’ which most probably might be coming in the public domain through one of his beloved disciples Mr Vaishnavi Ji, who I have been given to understand has worked on it.
Without Guru (Spiritual Master) no one can swim across the ocean of this SANSARA (world), may be equal to Brahma or Shankara, Guru’s shower their grace on the disciples laying emphasis on them to follow in full faith their commandments lead pure life of righteousness, love his creation and protect the ideals of the most sacred scripture.
Guru Gita proclaims Guru as Brahma (Creator), Vishnu (Preserver) and Shiva (Destroyer). Guru is indeed the manifestation of Param Brahma (the supreme being) and nothing should be concealed from Guru. Never tell a lie before him, ‘without Guru’ grace, many questions remain unanswered within. Without Guru, one should not expect one’s well being without Guru, one’s ignorance cannot be removed.
The secrets of divinity can be learnt from Guru alone. Shortcomings of the past birth can be unfolded with the help of Guru. However, the Guru must be perfect and an illumined soul. He will then transmute Jeeva into Shiva. Death is an insatiable God at whose altar every human being is sacrificed and therefore, is the ultimate reality. It reminds me of Rabindernath Tagore’s beautiful lines ‘into the cage flies an unknown bird it comes I know not whence,’ powerless my mind to chain its feet, it goes I know not where.’ My Guru Swami Bablu ji did the same and left this world for heavenly abode in Oct-12, 2016 at Greater Noida in U.P.
