To attempt the adventure of an encyclopedic review of religions - and of the spiritual ways that, although not religious, fall into a phenomenology of contemporary combinations of the sacred - present in Italy, in the current postmodern context, constitutes a fascinating challenge together a risk. This work is not a mere update of our previous editions of the Encyclopedia of Religions in Italy - published in 2001, 2006 and 2013, respectively, on which much is based: it is rather a new tool, which includes a lot of new material, both in a partially different way.
