BHOPAL: Complainant who lodged a rape case against vice-chancellor of Maharishi Vedic University and head of its group of schools, Girish Chandra Varma, resulting in his arrest, bail and subsequent acquittal said on Saturday she would move high court for justice.

She claimed she has evidence against Varma how he tried to threaten and influence her since she stood up against him.

Varma was arrested on December 29, 2013, nine months after a teacher of one of his schools leveled rape charges against him. After spending a month in Bhopal central jail, he was released on bail on January 31, 2014. A local court on September 22 acquitted him from rape charges.

School teacher alleged she was first raped on August, 1999 and the last time on March, 2013. "Varma took my signatures on blank papers, had by obscene pictures and threatened to eliminate my husband and kids due to which I kept quiet for so long," she added.

Meanwhile, responding to fresh allegations by woman, VR Khare, national director-communication and public relations, Maharishi schools group said, "Truth has won and it will prevail. We respect the court's order."
